The Booking Process
I am honored to be considered to capture a special milestone for you and your family. If after browsing, you feel like we would be a good fit, then the next steps are as follows:
Secure a date and location, sign a contract, and pay a $100 creative fee (similar to a retainer). The Creative Fee is not an additional charge. It is applied toward your total balance.
Once those are done, you are booked, and we can start the planning process to capture some awesome memories together!

Do you charge a travel fee?
I do occasionally take on projects outside of Ventura County. If we decide we are the right fit for each other and your session will be outside of Ventura County, then there is an additional $75 travel fee.
Will you help us with attire decisions?
Of course! I typically send couples and families a style guide that contains helpful tips and wardrobe advice. I will also help you understand how to take your location choice into consideration when planning your outfits!
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
All rescheduling for standard lifestyle sessions will subject to my current availability.
If you need to cancel, you forfeit your creative fee paid.
Can you explain the creative fee more?
To reserve your session date and time, a Creative Fee is required at booking. This fee reflects the time, preparation, and resources invested before your session takes place—including planning, communication, session preparation, and travel within my service area. A great deal of care goes into your experience well before the final images are created.
Because this time is dedicated to you immediately, the Creative Fee is non-refundable. In the event of a qualifying illness or emergency, the fee may be transferred to a rescheduled session.
The Creative Fee is not an additional charge. It is applied toward your total session investment and will be deducted from your final balance.
Final balances are due on the day of your session.
